MAYIA WARREN is a 28 year old Gospel artist, worship leader and musician from Raleigh, North Carolina. Her sound is a powerful fusion of Gospel, R&B, Neo Soul, and Jazz, distinguished by her deep, soulful vocals and rich, autobiographical songwriting. Her music often addresses personal themes like childhood trauma, navigating life with multiple disabilities and personal faith rooted epiphanies. MAYIA has been legally blind since birth and navigates life with albinism, in addition to several invisible disabilities. Beyond the stage, MAYIA engages in mission driven advocacy within the foster care and disability arena which includes a host of other outreach related endeavors. Her key focus is strategic collaborations with churches, non profits and community partners to maximize impact.
MAYIA has released two studio albums to date. In 2022 prior to stepping into music as an artist officially she released her rookie project entitled “Outta My Own Way”. In the following year, MAYIA released her sophomore self-titled album “Becoming MAYIA”. This project hallmarked her official foray into missional artistry under the call of God to share her story up to date in song.
Since then MAYIA WARREN has gone on to perform and minister through music in a variety of spaces from churches, senior centers, corporate and non profits events, to the main stage of Christian Hip Hop's premier conference and concert experience, Flavor Fest in 2025. In 2024 MAYIA signed a deal with the distribution arm of Christian Media entity Rapzilla. Some of her recent collaborations include the likes of Cutright, Rhymes and Harmony, Kayo Bracey, CeeAHNO, The EP and RRELL.
As it relates to mission driven advocacy and outreach MAYIA WARREN serves with a host of organizations such as: The Carolina Care Center, The Division of Services for the Blind, Disability: IN North Carolina, sitting board member for the Exceptional Assistance Center and Creating A Family. Key community partners include: Vision Church RDU and subsequent ministries, Seven Marks Church, God Did It Movement, BESALT Clothing, and Camp SAVVY.
MAYIA WARREN enjoys being a covenant member of Vision Church RDU and service professional in the student ministry helping to cultivate the next generation of disciples. In her free time she crochets, loves fishing, watching her favorite Marvel movies and learning new skills.
